Thames & Kosmos Wind Power 2.0 Overview

Build wind-powered generators to energize your electric vehicles and charge your rechargeable batteries! The wind spins the turbine, which turns an electric generator, which in turn charges your rechargeable AA batteries (not included). You can then use those wind-charged batteries to power the model vehicles you build. The six models include a glider, sail car, jet car, tractor, racecar, and tricycle.
This kit includes two styles of wind turbine blades and a gearbox with three different gear ratios for experimenting. You can adjust the angle and number of wind turbine blades to make best use of wind, to make the LED light up brightly, and to charge the rechargeable battery as fast as possible. Explore this amazing, free source of renewable energy and store the electricity you generate for use in practical applications!
This kit includes a 40-page color instruction book with illustrated step-by-step instructions for assembling two windmills and six model vehicles, and conducting various experiments. The 133 building pieces included in this set are compatible with those in all Thames & Kosmos Construction Series kits, Physics Series kits, Wind Power, and Hydropower kits.

The Sex Pistols are one of my favourite groups because even though people said that they couldn't play their instruments, I thought they give it a very good go. I first started listening to the Sex Pistols because they
annoyed my dad who ONLY listens to country music and won't consider listening to anything else. The more I got moaned at for listening to them the more I actually played them.

The Sex Pistols were formed by Malcolm McLaren in 1975 with one intention in mind, which was to make a million pounds. This was actually visualised in the movie "The Great Rock N' Roll Swindle". The Original members of the Pistols were: Johnny Rotten, Paul Cook, Steve Jones and Glen Matlock, it wasn't until later that Sid Vicious actually replaced Glen as bass guitarist.

The Pistols are remembered not only for being the most well known of all punk bands but for playing "God Save The Queen (their version)" on a boat on the Thames River during the Queen's Jubilee. The performance had them all arrested (including McLaren) and saw the single banned and rise to number 1. Another of the Pistols outrageous moments happened live on the Bill Grundy show on December 1st 1976 when Steve Jones was urged on by Bill Grundy (who was drunk and openly flirting with a young woman in the crowd) and swore on national television.

In 2006 the Sex Pistols were inducted into the Rock And Roll hall Of Fame. The Pistols only ever had one studio album which was Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols, there were further compilation albums made, some of which were: The Great Rock N' Roll Swindle, Flogging A Dead Horse, Kiss This and Filthy Lucre. The Pistols most famous songs being: God Save The Queen, Anarchy In The UK, Pretty Vacant, Silly Thing, EMI, And No One Is Innocent (featuring Ronnie Biggs, One of the Great Train Robbers).

Sid vicious, one of the bands most notorious members was well known for getting into trouble and causing "riots" in the clubs the Pistols played at and he was also the inventor of the dance "the pogo". Sid was arrested and sentenced for the murder of his girlfriend Nancy Spungen on November 22nd 1978, later to be released on bail. 10 days after Nancy's murder Sid attempted suicide, cutting his arms excessively and was sent to Belleview Hospital. In February 1979 Sid was found dead due to a heroin overdose and drowning on his own bodily fluids.
